Job Description/Requirements
- Excellent Customer Service Skills: You will work directly with customers in person and on the phone. Being friendly and approachable are extremely important to the job. You will be the first person that customers and patients see when they walk in. Essentially, the "face of the pharmacy". It is expected you present yourself appropriately as a professional employee.
- Communication Skills: You will communicate with customers and staff, relaying messages and important information. Exceptional listening and speaking skills are a must.
- Math/Clerical Skills: Running the registers will be your priority, basic math skills and the ability to handle money are required. Attention to detail is very important to executing clerical tasks associated with your position. You will be responsible for restocking supplies and keeping accurate record of what is going in and out of the pharmacy.
- Ability to multi-task: Checking in orders, helping customers, answering phones, and maintaining cleanliness of the front end of the pharmacy take place constantly and simultaneously throughout the day. Being able to handle several different tasks effectively and efficiently is an important attribute to exceptional performance of this position.
Education
- High school degree or equivalent. Training will be done on the job.
Experience
- No experience necessary. Will train the right candidate for the job.
- Experience in customer service preferred. Pharmacy experience highly favorable.
