What You'll Do:
The Digital Marketing Specialist works in a fast-paced team environment to collaborate with the marketing team on public relations initiatives, social and digital media campaigns, event management and promotions, sales/product collateral, full-scale advertising campaigns and other program related needs. You will be responsible for our social media and email content calendars and will work with our design team to ensure we have fresh creative that engages audiences. You will assist in the development of public relations campaigns and community engagement opportunities. You will also support the marketing team as needed on a variety of other projects. You will regularly communicate and work with other departments and different levels of management within the bank. It will be important for you to learn and obtain a basic knowledge of products and services and be able to respond to customer inquiries at a high level.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Content Management
- Maintains a social media calendar that aligns with the goals of our brand.
- Coordinates the planning and execution of our brand ambassadors' program.
- Writes and designs engaging and well-crafted copy and content for our social media and email platforms.
- Maintains our Google Business Location database and replies to customer ratings and comments.
- Works with our compliance team to protect our brand and make sure that all campaigns meet regulatory requirements.
- Assists with internal and external photography and video projects as assigned.
- Assists with marketing plans and research relating to competitive analyses, demographics, product and service usages, and customer satisfaction.
- Helps conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects..
- Works effectively and efficiently on all major social media platforms as well as social media management platforms.
- Keeps abreast of the latest trends as it relates to customer experience and customer communication.
Business Line Support
- Assists with campaigns related to the planning and execution of bank sponsored community events, customer appreciation initiatives, and product activations.
- Assists with implementation of our communication plan relating to our Dollar Bill Kids Club (youth financial literacy), Classic Club (travel and local activities for customers 50 ) and ProsperU (community financial education program).
- Attends bank sponsored community events to gather content that can be used across a variety of media campaigns.
- Consistently demonstrates proficiency in providing exemplary customer service in-person and by telephone. Maintains a friendly, positive, and professional attitude. Resolves difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
Tracking and Communication
- Will be a liaison between customers and bank staff, often fielding questions and comments coming in through our social media channels.
- Communicates regularly with the bank's lines of business to communicate project updates and opportunities for feedback related to collaborative projects.
- Provides analysis and reporting as needed for marketing campaigns.
- Establishes, implements, and maintains methods and procedures to assure all assignments, tasks and deadlines are processed correctly and timely using departmental project management software.
- Maintains a comprehensive procedures manual on all job responsibilities.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area and ensures that all confidential records are secured and/or disposed of properly.
- Completes and attends all required training and continuing education as appropriate.

Requirements:
You've Got This:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism/Film or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Familiarity with financial institutions or similar organization's services and products preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant marketing experience, especially working with digital media. Experience in banking products and services is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in all major Social Media platforms, Email Marketing platforms, the Adobe Creative Suite, Video Production, Microsoft Office, Project Management Systems, Vendor Management, Customer Service, and Relationship Management.
- Other Job-Related Criteria: Attention to detail is required. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance with flexibility to work non-office hours as needed. Must possess good judgment skills and the ability to handle confidential information. Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the bank footprint.
