What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Central Care Cancer Center?
Central Care Cancer Center is hiring a full-time Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources and Payroll Department at our Salina, KS Administration Office.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, organization and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. This person must be able to work well independently as well as within a team.
Essential Functions
- Assist with FMLA
- Assist with recruiting efforts
- Conduct and sit in on interviews
- Scan and file personnel documents
- Manage labor law posters across all clinic locations
- Assign new hire checklists in HRIS system
- Work with area schools and programs for recruiting purposes
- Assist with onboarding process
- Update and maintain employee files
- Track and file employee CME and sponsorship requests
- Update job descriptions
- Track all employee certifications and requirements
- Assist HR Managers
- Perform audits related to HR functions
- Other duties as assigned
Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or combination of education and experience
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Benefit administration experience preferred
- Experience with HRIS and candidate tracking systems a plus
- Willingness to learn more and grow in the field of Human Resources

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
