What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer maintenance position at Central College?
Job Description
Assist with performing maintenance on heating and cooling units and assisting technicians with various other jobs. Hours are 7 : 00-3 : 30 Monday - Friday for the summer.
Duties Include
- Dryer cleaning and dryer vent cleaning
- Assist with maintenance of equipment including greasing bearings, changing filters, and changing belts
- Assist with cleaning the LRC and VSC fountains
- Assist technical staff with projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Works well with others, but also be able to work independently
- Willingness to learn different jobs
- Possess good decision-making skills
- Takes responsibility for working safely
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and license to drive Central College vehicles
- Must be 16 years of age
