Do you have a bachelor’s degree and a year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities?

Then Central Illinois Service Access (CISA) would like to talk to you about becoming an Independent Service and Support Advocate (ISSA). CISA is seeking individuals to provide advocacy, oversight, plan development and general case management for people with Developmental Disabilities who reside in our communities. The position requires QIDP certification. To seek QIDP certification the State of Illinois will require a bachelor’s degree in Social Services and at least one year of working directly with persons with a development Disability, or a degree in social services and a year of life experiences with persons who have a Developmental Disabilities.

Ability to communicate effectively and be an active listener.

Ability to multi-task from one responsibility to another.

Ability to use Data base platforms.

Ability to use Microsoft Programs.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Work Location: Hybrid remote:  Initial Training and necessary meetings occur in our in Lincoln, IL office.  Once trained the employee will be visiting individuals on their caseloads at their homes, places of employment and day training program sites.  Then they will be documenting those visits and meetings from their home office.
