Salary: $18.15 per hour
Location: Varying between 1333 Fields Avenue and 1600 McKinley Avenue, Columbus, OH

Position Summary:
The Farebox Puller is responsible for removing and replacing cashboxes from fareboxes, sorting tickets, bills, and coins, and counting collected revenue on weekends and one weekday shift.
Performs duties in alignment with the 2019-2024 COTA Strategic Plan and in support of the organization's vision To Move Every Life Forward.
This Position is Responsible For:
- Removes and replaces farebox cashboxes from incoming buses; uses Electronic Data Probe to exchange data into GFI computer when removing cashboxes;
- Lifts cashboxes into the receiver to separate coins from bills and tickets;
- Cleans and/or adjusts machines in cashier section as needed;
- Ensures all machinery (i.e., probes, computers, coin counting machine, etc.) are working properly and are well maintained;
- Replenishes transfers and passes in the farebox.
At Minimum You'll Need:
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED, and one (1) year of experience in cash handling and data entry experience.
