We're currently seeking a Medical Receptionist with a friendly demeanor, experience working in the medical field, and basic computer skills. The ideal candidate will be able to greet patients, answer telephones and schedule appointments with efficiency and professionalism. The Medical Receptionist will also be responsible for filing and retrieving documents in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones.
- Help patients and visitors with scheduling, billing, and general information.
- Answer questions about health care.
- Use a personal computer to type, file, or fax documents.
- Prepare payments from patients for services.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Handle insurance authorizations and referrals
- Confirm patient referrals from primary care offices
- Resolve customer service problems.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
