Central Transport is currently seeking a Service Center Manager for our facility located in Rock Falls, IL. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 3 years experience in LTL, distribution/logistics, transportation or operations management
- Proven track record of managing resources and efficiencies
- Ability to multitask and continually prioritize a changing workload
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet frequent deadlines
- Knowledge of computer systems and handheld scanning technology
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Day to day management of the Rock Falls, IL facility
- Driving a culture of operational excellence and model compliance within terminal staff
- Measuring, setting, and driving company KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
- Responsible for recruiting and staffing a team of professional drivers and office staff
- Training and development of drivers, supervisory, and management staff
- Playing an active role in personnel recruitment, development and discipline
- Communicate company objectives across all levels of the facility

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
