Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Wholesale Planning Manager to join its Kids team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.
The Wholesale Planning Manager will be responsible for the entire end to end planning process, which will include: LRP, Budgeting and Forecasting, Merchandise financial planning, Inventory Management, Post Market Reconciliation. This position will provide management guidance and hands on oversight to the day to day business, and be the link between sales, finance, production, and operations. The net result should be increased wholesale and retail sales, greater profitability and improved inventory turns both internally and for our retail customers. In addition, this individual will assure timely and accurate communication of weekly, monthly, and seasonal forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Retail Planning and Reporting, Inventory Management
- Report results and reforecasts monthly to provide Finance and Supply Planning with timely and accurate pre-season and in season projections and how we are tracking vs budget
- Call out trends relating to sales versus projections
- Communicate any risks/opportunities due to stock position or account feedback
- Supervise/challenge inventory levels and fulfillment by color / style / customer
- Create clear and actionable recaps for sales & accounts in-season
- Forecast and maintain projected weeks of supply based on on-hands, demand plans, vendor purchase orders
- Close collaboration with internal sales teams, and external customers
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of Planning experience in a Wholesale environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to think both strategically and execute tactically
- Ability to partner and collaborate at all levels with multiple areas of the business
- Be able to influence others based on the analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to convey a point of view
- Must be proficient at creating any new reporting tools to stay ahead of our competition and accounts’ analytical expectations
- Entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful – Capable of problem solving
- Primary decision making will revolve around accurate projections, managing supply and forecasting inventory and shipments. This will increase wholesale purchases/shipments, inventory turn and profitability
- SAP experience, a plus
- Tillerman experience, a plus

Salary Range: Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
