Job Description: Centro de la Familia is more than a preschool. We empower parents of infants from six weeks old up to just prior to Kindergarten to be invested in their children’s education! We are currently hiring for a full-time position as Talent Acquisition Specialist, Monday - Friday based out of Grand Junction, CO. We run a renowned high-quality Head Start program that is growing and have provided top-quality community care programs since 1975 and early education since 1992.
Develop and successfully implement our full-cycle talent acquisition strategy.
Assist with effective onboarding process for new hires.
Be accountable - create key indicators of success that others support; measure these and constantly improve.
Learn/understand our Mission, Values, Culture; align with them, and move us towards them.
Communicate effectively with leaders, applicants, and staff; be a team player.
Handle pressure with professional judgment, flexibility, and good humor
Exhibit professionalism in attendance, dress, demeanor, and behavior
Requirements:
Experience developing & implementing a full-cycle talent acquisition strategy aligned with the business.
including job brief, developing sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and development, offer and close
A love for helping young children and their parents.
Communicate well with applicants, leaders, and co-workers.
Pass our background check.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Previous experience with full-cycle talent acquisition
Technical knowledge of and skill using applicable technology
Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred.
Experience with JazzHR and Paylocity (or other ATS & HRIS) preferred.
Knowledge of Head Start compliance and/or other government-regulated programs preferred.
