What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Administrator position at Centuria Corporation?
A minimum of five years’ experience in developing, installing, maintaining, updating and migrating public and private facing web services, including database driven applications. Experience with the following web programming or database technologies or similar is highly desirable: PHP, Python, Drupal, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, C, C CSS/HTML, Javascript, MS Access, and IIS. Web programmer experience must include incorporation of government web standards and security control requirements; server and code flaw identification and remediation; configuring and managing web sites with a content management system; and managing governance of content updates. System Administrative experience in Unix/linux web server administration is desirable.
Database programming experience is highly desirable including developing and maintaining web related applications and/or relational database design. Knowledge of database architecture and design is desired with experience using modern enterprise databases, such as MS SQL. Experience supporting or managing web based corporate learning management systems is desirable.
