Summary of Position Mission
The Vice President of Sales oversees all facets of global sales and customer service. Responsible for leadership over the sales team to increase profitable sales by focusing on new revenue generations and customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Hires, manages and develops a goal orientated sales team
- Owns the entire sales strategy and process from front to end
- Partners across the organization to develop sales processes; segment and customer sales strategy and territory plans with the goal to create alignment and drive prioritization and collaboration across the organization.
- Develops and owns the annual Sales and Customers Services teams’ budgets
- Plans, developments and implement strategies for generating new business awards for the company
- Sets quarterly and annual sales goals for the sales team by territory, and goals for the top 20 customers
- Responsible for updating the sales forecast
- Identifies adjacent and future growth markets, and designs plans for bridging markets beyond the immediately addressment market.
- Delegate responsibility to managers to accomplish company goals
- Partners with the Training and Development Specialist to develop and deploy sales training programs.
- Works with Marketing department to develop effective strategies
- Attends various tradeshows, clients, and events domestically and internationally
- Actively participate and support the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis
- Other duties will be assigned as required.
Qualifications &Knowledge Required

- At least 15 years of experience in sales leadership
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or closely related field preferred, Bachelor’s accepted
- Excellent communication, verbal and people skills with ability to partner a dynamic leadership team.
- Knowledge of firearms highly desirable
- Skilled in organizational, budget and resource development, personnel management, and strategic planning.
- Flexible schedule; ability to multitask and work in ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Valid Passport in good standing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to lead at all levels of management
