The Lead Quality Control Analyst will be working in Quality department to support finished product testing activities in accordance to GMP standards and FDA/ISO regulations. The successful candidate will have experience working in a Quality environment, have an in-depth knowledge of knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and methodologies. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of demonstrated leadership.

This position is part of the Quality Organization and will be located in Lodi, California.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform and document laboratory testing of finished product per procedures
  • Conduct data analysis according to established methods and product specifications
  • Revise and update product testing procedures, work instructions, and worksheet as appropriate
  • Review and provide input for testing procedures, work instructions, and worksheet for correction or process improvements
  • Serve as point of contact for nonconforming product report generation and status tracking
  • Be responsible for ensuring team members are appropriately trained to perform job tasks
  • Actively engage in the continuous improvement of QC processes, laboratories, and overall work environment

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 4-6 years of related work experience OR

AA or Technical Trade Degree with 2-4 years of related work experience.

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Experience in handling biological and chemical materials
  • Ability to adopt a systemic view of process improvement and to advise process improvement teams to reach goals
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, across multiple functions. Able to skillfully manage conflict and bring issues to timely resolution

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry or similar scientific discipline.
  • Experience working in GMP compliance environment
