The Quality Control Analyst II will be working in Quality department to support finished product testing activities in accordance to GMP standards and FDA/ISO regulations. The successful candidate will have experience working in a Quality environment, have an in-depth knowledge of knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and methodologies.
This position is part of the Quality Organization and will be located in Lodi, California.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform and document laboratory testing of finished product per procedures
- Conduct data analysis according to established methods and product specifications
- Revise and update product testing procedures, work instructions, and worksheet as appropriate
- Review and provide input for testing procedures, work instructions, and worksheet for correction or process improvements
- Assist with laboratory maintenance including instruments, equipment, and inventories of supplies and reagents
- Assist with training to ensure team members are appropriately trained to perform job tasks
- Actively engage in the continuous improvement of QC processes, laboratories, and overall work environment
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years of related work experience OR
AA or Technical Trade Degree with 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment
- Experience in handling biological and chemical materials
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry or similar scientific discipline.
- Experience working in GMP compliance environment
