Cerium Networks is growing and seeking Sales Account Executives who may EITHER be experienced sales professionals OR are passionate about stepping into their first technology sales career.

Must be a strong communicator and requires independence and accountability as well as collaborating with your team. You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships via regularly planned customer-lifecycle touch points and working with customers to identify challenges that Cerium can resolve. This is a hybrid position. Candidate must reside in the territory they are applying for.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with new prospective customers and representing the company.
- Developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through phone, by email, in person, events, and high-level prospecting.
- Researching prospects and generating leads.
- Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
- Managing existing customer relationships. Increase customer satisfaction by regular contact to understand and act on their needs and changes in their business.
- Articulating the solutions and services available to customers and teaming up with technical resources to tailor it to client-specific needs.
- Consistently achieving quarterly and annual goals.
- Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
- Continuous learning and developing on product knowledge, specifically related to the technologies we offer.
- Assuring customer satisfaction through consistent professional communication and detailed, well defined follow up and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales and account acquisition
- Minimum three years of work experience in a professional business setting
- Possess excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Be target driven and capable of hitting goals and activity levels
- Knowledge of LinkedIn and/or CRM is required
- Preference will be given to those with a track record in Business Development OR to a candidate with a strong desire for a sales career
