What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Coordinator position at CFS Transportation?
CFS Transportation (CFS) is a leading Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) company located in National City, CA. We serve all of San Diego County, and we are looking for an industrious, energetic, and experienced bilingual full-time Transportation Coordinator (TC) to provide client-facing customer service, coordination and problem solving in our partner health center facility in Vista.
The TC is responsible for collaborating with CFS and our partner clinics’ staff to organize NEMT transportation for the elderly and medically fragile program participants. As such, TC’s serve a crucial role by doing their jobs effectively and by representing CFS to our partner clinic. Daily duties of the TC include (but are not limited to):
- scheduling and organizing daily transportation
- coordinating transportation in person, over the phone and via email
- attending daily team meetings and relaying critical information to CFS dispatch and management
- interfacing with partner clinic management and staff to address transportation-related issues
- interfacing with partner clinic program participants
- implementing CFS and partner clinic policies with CFS driver staff
- assisting CFS management with daily scheduling
- other assigned duties as needed

Hours: Full-Time Position: 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) – 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Mandatory all-staff trainings/meetings are generally held once-monthly in National City for two (2) hours on a Saturday morning.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00/hour (depending on experience), paid weekly
Educational Requirements: High school graduate (College experience is desirable)
Bilingual Requirements: Written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish is required
Other: Ability to type 45 words/minute, work on your feet or sitting for long periods of time, perform routine physical activity, and lift 25 pounds
