What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Supervisor position at CG Life?
CG Life is seeking an experienced agency Account Supervisor to join our San Diego team. You would be a good fit if you have a genuine interest in life sciences and healthcare, are highly motivated, and have a tried-and-true method for delivering exceptional client satisfaction. In this role, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations on several assigned accounts, and as a client partner, leading the development of complex marketing projects, programs, and campaigns.

Strong attention to detail, stellar follow-up, and able to generate strategic creative solutions to meet client needs.
Understand burn reports, manage overages, and change of scope discussions as necessary to achieve target profitability.
Understand when to invest in clients and when to require compensation.
Leadership:
Lead and manage integrated strategy to foster success within assigned book of business.
Manages and oversees tactical client initiatives from project kickoff through job completion to ensure project is executed according to the SOW, briefs, and goals. Owns client relationships and communications.
Develops creative and tactical briefs to execute client projects.
Preps, leads, and recaps presentations and status’ with necessary details and next steps.
Proactively communicates client feedback, project updates, etc. with internal team members using project management tools
Anticipate client needs and provide proactive solutions without oversight.
Showcase value by exceeding client expectations and building, maintaining and strengthening senior-level relationships.
Identify areas of opportunities within current accounts to move their business forward and drive organic growth.
Always hits deadlines whether they are internal or external and whether or not it involves various stakeholders to accomplish.
Industry Expertise:
Established knowledge of business, and a deep understanding of how various marketing disciplines can best work together to support client goals.
Research and comprehend clients’ objectives, needs, and asks in order to effectively lead the account (not technical) – partnering with Strategy, Creative, and other teams to develop high-impact solutions and recommendations that align with client business goals.
Passionate about the business, and able to work across and beyond functional area of expertise, category experience and multi-channel experience.
Ability to negotiate terms/initiatives that are mutually beneficial for the client and CG Life as it relates to creative problem-solving scope/budget or timeline/deliverable misalignments.
Dedicated to self-development and seizes on-the-job opportunities to enrich skills and learn new information about their profession on a regular basis.
Communication:
Able to interact with colleagues of varying levels in person, over the phone, via email, and across teams.
Proven ability to earn upper-level client trust and confidence, internally and externally.
Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships both internally and externally.
Comfortable with verbal communication and has the ability to put others at ease by speaking clearly and confirming others' understanding by asking questions.
Participates in meetings and conversations with thoughtful, comprehensive comments and questions — streamlining communications.

Qualifications and Skills:
6 years of agency or relevant industry experience
A deep understanding of the industry (life sciences and healthcare) is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills

The salary for this position, which depends on prior work experience and our assessment of your demonstrated fit for the role, will likely be between $87,500 - $98,000. You will have the opportunity to discuss the salary in more detail after you start the application process.
