We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join the CG Life team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science and healthcare and experience in independently running social media accounts. This role involves developing and executing innovative social media strategies to enhance our client's online presence, increase audience engagement, and contribute to overall marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to the unique needs of biotech and biopharma clients.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
- Utilize Canva to create visually appealing graphics and layouts for social media posts.
- Schedule and oversee social media content using scheduling platform Sprout Social to ensure clients have a regular social posting cadence.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users, creating community engagement and customer interaction.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
- Stay current with social media trends and tools – includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.
- Collaborate with other CG Life teams to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
Reports To: Director of Social Media
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the life sciences, healthcare, or related industry.
- Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with social media scheduling platforms.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging and understandable content.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths and demographic nuances.
- Ability to analyze and interpret social media analytics to guide strategy.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- This is a hybrid role and employees will be expected to come into the office at least 2 days per week.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - 75,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
