This job interacts with internal and external customers as well as with operators on the production floor. Utilizes a range of print equipment, such as: Large Roll Printers, Cut Sheet Printers, High Speed Mail Inserting Machines, and various equipment throughout the print shop.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma/ GED
- Must be able to left 25-50 lbs
- Must be able to push and load full sized rolls of paper onto equipment
- Entry level position
- Previous mail room experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
This job interacts with internal and external customers as well as with operators on the production floor. Utilizes a range of print equipment, such as: Large Roll Printers, Cut Sheet Printers, High Speed Mail Inserting Machines, and various equipment throughout the print shop.
Print Operator Position
- Computer literate and able to understand selecting work to be printed. Change large roll paper as required, update settings to operate large roll printers based on type of work.
- Computer literate to understand mainframe work and to select and print as required on multiple print equipment based on size and type of work.
Insert Operator Position
- Operate a high-speed mail inserter by loading full rolls of printed material onto the machine, select correct modes, folding options, envelopes, return envelopes or flyers as required, set required mailing/postage rates and tray all mail pieces and place onto pallets for shipping. Reconcile all work to be 100% accurate.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, constant lifting and movement.

- Provide maintenance and/or minor repair of equipment.
- Performs other duties as directed.
