CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team remotely from home.
CHA has developed thousands of water-related projects, each taking into account our clients' unique environmental, water quality, permitability, and funding concerns. Our water and wastewater management offerings include full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
At CHA, our Wastewater Process Engineer has extensive engineering knowledge and may provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the respective field of engineering. This individual is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects. The Wastewater Process Engineer manages all phases of a technical project from conception and design to completion, while providing engineering guidance to other departments and training new engineering staff.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- A minimum of 15 years progressive engineering experience is required
- Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practices
- Proficiency with MS Office software required
- Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineering
- Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Completely familiar with and advocates for the company's standards for quality control and compliance
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas
- An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
- Proven ability to lead a team
