What are the responsibilities and job description for the Used Car Sales Manager position at Chacon Autos?
Job Duties:
- Lead and participate in sales team efforts to achieve high sales volume
- Provide training to new sales employees & ongoing development of current employees
- Implement sales best practices and techniques to drive sales
- Motivate and encourage employees in everyday efforts.
- Hold team accountable to sales targets.
- Assist salespeople in gathering customer information, vehicle needs and wants, and presenting vehicle options matching those requirements
- Manage vehicle inventory to ensure proper pricing, model mix, and display
- Prospect and sell cars as needed to assist with meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Process customer payments and down payments for purchases when needed
- Daily cash counts to balance cash drawer
- Bank deposits
- Print and deliver customer contracts when needed
- Verify loan application documents for accuracy
- Any other duty necessary to assist with proper operation of the store
Requirements:
- Automotive Sales Management Experience a plus
- 6 Years of Used Car Sales Experience
- Ability to manage and supervise others
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Strong computer/typing skills; competency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to adjust schedule and work hours as needed based on job and customer requirements
- Must be punctual and have good attendance
- Ability to freely access all areas of the car lot
- Valid driver’s license
Schedule:
Full time. Store Hours Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Saturdays are required work days. Days off are typically Sundays plus one day during the week.
