JOB DESCRIPTION The Product Support Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Parts and Service Departments of the Branch. This individual will assume responsibility for the orderly, coordinated, and professional operation of the Parts and Service Departments on a daily basis, including all facility and vehicle-related responsibilities. - Manage both parts and service employees to accomplish the company’s growth, quality, and profit objectives.
- Resolve employee and customer issues and complaints.
- Attain all company goals, both financial and non-financial.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with all employees, vendors, and customers.
- Oversee the completion of annual reviews for all parts and service department employees.
- Assure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all branch safety matters, including monthly meetings, audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations, including Drug and Alcohol testing.
- Ensure the log for Ongoing Employee Training and Education is complete and updated.
- Oversee and monitor Asset Management; perform a review of WIP levels, review warranties, and complete annual budgeting and forecasting requirements. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Heavy Equipment Industry.
- Demonstrated history of profitable results at the branch level and knowledge of product support practices, administrative practices, and general financial knowledge.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A valid driver’s license and is willing to use their own vehicle for company business.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting tasks.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision regarding time management and customer assignments and have the ability to consistently make sound, ethical decisions in challenging and potentially stressful situations.
