Job Description: Cabinet installer
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Able to read and understand blueprint drawings and written specifications
- Oversee and assist with deliveries
- Upon delivery, unpack and inspect for 100% quality fabrication
- Perform all cabinet installations with the ability to reason, understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated and oral instruction
- Understand work orders, change orders, and all other related job documents
- Assist Lead Carpenter by bringing install discrepancies and special conditions to his/her attention
- Ability to use all specific tools to install cabinetry, hardware and trim
- Ensure work is completed as requested by project manager to acceptable standards
- Work under timelines to meet specific completion deadlines
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment. Perform daily clean up of job site debris
- Manage labor hours according to Chalk policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive, professional and motivated attitude
Skills
- Excellent carpentry and related field experience
- Acceptable work experience with related power and hand tools.
- Prior cabinetry installation experience required
- Daily demands to use all related mathematical measuring skills
- Ability to work with a team and/or independently
- Ability to lift 50lbs, sustain periods of standing, bending and kneeling
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
