The Position
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing quality at the assigned worksite(s) where people who have different abilities work with integrated teams and receive work support and development as needed—achieving the highest level of independence possible. The individual is responsible for monitoring and measurement of work performance pertaining to janitorial services, grounds, and/or landscaping as required by a specific location. This position provides oversight of business instruction, inspection, and record-keeping processes to ensure contract compliance. The incumbent will assure that site personnel is competent and aware of the contract requirements. The individual will provide training on business principles, system updates, management support, and ongoing feedback to site personnel. The Quality Control Manager ensures compliance with the Business Manual and the Quality Control Plan, as well as compliance with business objectives and standards at assigned site(s). The Quality Control Manager will travel 10% of the time.
Reports to: Director of Quality Assurance
Salary: $18.97 per hour (non-exempt)
Hours: Mon-Fri,7 AM - 3:30 PM; Flexible to job demands.
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required but bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 3 years’ work experience in janitorial or housekeeping. Quality, engineering, or management experience required. Must be able to create and understand statistical analysis. Requires problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail skills.
Certifications/Licenses: For Custodial in MO – must be able to obtain MO Class E License. Current ISO Auditor Certificate or ability to achieve in 6 months.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Background Checks: Must pass a criminal background check. Must pass various State and Federal registry checks. Must pass a credit history check.
Background Check: Must pass criminal background check, military base background check, and DCFS tracking system check.
