Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and sustain an outstanding wine program by curating a varied and captivating wine list that mirrors the establishment's vision, goals, and clientele.
- Regularly research to discover new and captivating wines, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging wine regions, and grape varieties.
- Collaborate closely with the head chef and culinary team to devise well-balanced and complementary food and wine pairings, taking into account flavors, textures, and aromas.
- Provide exceptional wine service by helping guests select the ideal wine to enhance their dining experience, taking into consideration their preferences, budget, and menu selections.
- Present comprehensive descriptions of wines, encompassing production methods, regions of origin, and flavor profiles, showcasing expertise and enthusiasm to educate and engage patrons.
- Conduct wine tastings, events, and seminars to enrich patrons' comprehension and appreciation of wines, while promoting the establishment's wine program.
- Efficiently manage wine inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions, reducing wastage, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels and expenses.

Qualifications:
- Certification from a respected sommelier program (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine and Spirit Education Trust) is a mandatory requirement.
