Job Posting for Traveling Director of Nursing at Champion Care

Champion Care is currently interviewing for a Traveling Director of Nursing / Quality Nurse Specialist for Wisconsin. This is an opportunity to take your exceptional clinical experience as a Director of Nursing and use it at multiple facilities across the State of Wisconsin. 


This is a full time, benefit eligible position which includes regular travel to Wisconsin locations.

Responsibilities:

The Traveling Director of Nursing is responsible for interim leadership of the clinical team and product of the assigned facility. The position utilizes skills in planning, organizing, developing, evaluating, and effectively directing the clinical staff on an interim basis in order to ensure the ongoing delivery of exceptional resident care following all regulations and standards.   


The Traveling Director of Nursing has responsibility as an interim member of the facility leadership team and will participate in the planning and implementation of strategies and programming that assure high quality resident care while achieving short-term goals and objectives for the facility.

 

Qualifications:

  • Registered nurse with current licensure with the State of Wisconsin.
  • 2 years’ experience as a Director of Nursing in long term care.
  • Demonstrated competencies in quality management, staff development, resident and family support systems.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements for long-term care.
