We are seeking a passionate and versatile professional to join our dynamic team, who enjoys to develop the CFC TVET Agency, leads the team, coordinates activities of the CFC TVET Agency and connects the youth’s aspirations to opportunities.Responsibilities
The RoleIn the role of the TVET Coordinator, you shall : Ensure that the TVET Agency functions according to the concept and quality standards in place.
Lead the team, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the TVET Agency.Have a in depth-understanding of the TVET system in Ghana and take care of all key stakeholders of the Agency like local and international companies, GES and NVTIBe an excellent Ambassador of Chance for Children and the TVET AgencyWork closely with young adults towards their personal and career development.
Collaborate with the different CFC branches and departments for best interventions and efficiency.Prepare, develop, and analyze reports of the TVET Agency for informed decisions.
Control budget and expenditure of the TVET Agency.Build capacity of young adults to be active participants in their development and the development of their communities.
Facilitate training sessions for young adults that prepare them with complementary skills for the labor market.Work closely with and provide support to In-Company trainers to adopt best practices for training young adults in apprenticeships.Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have : Passion for street -connected children and TVET.A minimum of First Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Integrated Development Studies, Guidance and Counselling, Youth in Development Work or Population and Family Life Education.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with young adults in a Non-Profit OrganizationUnderstanding of the phenomenon of street-connected children and young adults in GhanaUnderstanding of national and international laws, conventions, charters, and policies regulating work with children and young adults.
Knowledge of the Ghana education system and TVET as well as understanding TVET trends in Ghana.Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and practical skills in youth development work.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in casework, group work, and group facilitation tools.Knowledge of youth-centered approaches and excellent skills in building trusted relationships with youth.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and building strong working relationships with government institutions and the private sector.
Proven high accuracy and quality-focused mindset while managing a demanding work schedule independently.Emotional intelligence and exercise sound judgement.
Basic financial management skills.Working knowledge of the logical framework and database management software
