Successful candidates for this position should have skills and experience in the following areas:
- Graphic design – the creation of ads, menus, promotional materials
- Photo and video creation – informal (think iPhone) productions for use on social media
- Website maintenance – updating menus, photos, and content
- Copy creation – for consistent messaging across all platforms (love of a good pun is a bonus)
- Creative thinking – ideas for promotions and events
- Analysis – tracking through Google Analytics, bit.ly, etc., to gauge interactions and the success of initiatives
Qualified candidates will have expertise in:
- Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop
- Editing within a WordPress environment (don’t worry – we have a programmer for the heavy lifting)
- Strong writing skills – utilized on the website, blog posts, and regular e-blasts
- 5 years minimum experience in the graphic design field
- Social Media management – content creation plus regular posting, monitoring, and response to comments across Instagram, Facebook, and review platforms
- Working with printers and publications
- Being a self-starter with a strong eye for detail, and good time management skills
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Ads is a bonus but not mandatory
- A love for food, wine, and the hospitality industry!
