Position Overview:
Reporting to Vice President of Marketing, The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the execution of global promotional animation and activity against defined brand strategy with identified sales targets. This includes sampling, gift with purchase and set development.
Position Responsibilities:
Global Brand Management:
- Lead and evolve Chantecaille’s trade/promotional presence globally, aligned to the broader strategies and objectives of the business.
- Trade Marketing partner for all global cross-functional marketing teams, support brand growth, contribute to strategic marketing plans and implementation.
- Owns the creation of maintance of Global Trade Marketing Calendar serving as tool to identify need gap relative to global stategic needs on core and new product launches
- Product Marketing & Sku Management:
- Collaborate with key partners to identify business needs and opportunities to ensure promotional support and new marketing campaigns meet regions/markets specific needs.
- Lead brand GWPS, POS assortment and all support plans to continue driving retail sales and delivering on financial top and bottom-line targets.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain and Procurement to improve service levels.
- Manage stock inventory and all aspects of product management to achieve timely sample delivery.
- Develop new initiative dossier for program introduction, alignement and budgeting preparations
- Drive 360 activation can that relates to new product launches
- Product Development and Project Management:
- Work closely with VP of Marketing and CMO to identify gaps and white space opportunities for sets and sample programs.
- Responsible for all product tasks such as program creation, forecasting, budgeting, packaging development and creative.
- Build out costs comparison and cost analysis on new developments while conducting value analysis on existing sampling
- Work closely with regional team to identify local relevances
- Brand Cross-Category Project Management:
- Liaise across sales, marketing & promo strategy teams, to build programs, communicate critical updates and facilitate information sharing for seamless execution.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Consolidate trade plans and monitor results to provide insights, recommendations and initiate change.
- Gather necessary information, lead meetings, and preparation for internal and retailer meetings.
- Create briefs and proposals for business drivers
- Conduct reviews on competitive landscape on global trade piece.
Operational Duties:
- New item# set up requests
- PO# requests
- Global GWP & set assemblies
- Image and shoot requests
- Copy requests
- Sales order submissions
Position Qualifications
- Relevant marketing experience is preferred.
- Proficient with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
