Job Summary :
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the operations of warehouse goods including the management of receiving, dispatching, and storing of tools and equipment.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Manage the recruitment, selection, training, and coaching of all employees which includes delegation of roles and responsibilities to each employee.
- Manage and maintain warehouse operations by stock control and inventory management to ensure proper billing and allocation of costs.
- Manage warehouse operations budget by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
- Achieve warehouse operations by contributing recommendations and following policies.
- Regulate safety within all warehouses, including all individuals entering the warehouses.
- Weekly reporting on tooling repairs, calibrations, and safety items.
- Record keeping of all small tooling and repair requests from the field.
- Close working relationship with the procurement team on inventory management.
- Receive new tooling and maintain accurate records of serial numbers, model numbers, and who it is issued out to.
- Track and log yard tags, keeping accurate records for future reference.
- Work closely with Project Managers and field personnel to ensure efficient job start-up and closeouts to increase job preplanning and decrease unwanted job costs.
- Oversee the receiving process of warehouses and maintain a record of received inventory (including client supplied).
- Oversee distribution, warehousing, and shipping for all warehouses.
- Establish warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage solutions.
- Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes.
- Get with repair representatives to obtain information on improper use of tools, and how to better maintain tooling to prevent excessive repair costs and downtime.
- Support Transformation Management Office (TMO) initiatives.
- Reporting, Vista Viewpoint.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience.
- Experience working with inventory management / purchasing department.
- Implement and manage processes successfully.
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and perform at a high attention to detail while staying self-motivated.
- Customer service oriented (External and Internal).
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Skilled at analyzing information and problem-solving.
- Lead with safety as a top priority.
- Current valid driver’s license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements.
Education and Experience :
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 3-5 years of warehouse operations or logistics experience; experience with multiple warehouses preferred.
- Previous experience operating a forklift.
Physical Requirements :
- Must lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Stand, walk, and climb for long periods of time.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports.
- Must be able to see, hear, and speak in order to communicate with partners and customers.
Compensation :
$32.13 - $36.27 per hour.
Compensation salary exempt, DOE, bonus potential, 100% paid full benefits for you and your family, generous paid time off, and an employer funded retirement plan.
You must successfully pass a background and drug test prior to start date.
