The Marketing Finance group provides financial analysis and strategic decision support for Schwab’s Marketing enterprise. This role plays a significant role in providing financial mentorship, helping business partners drive scale and efficiency, and developing ad-hoc analytics to support business initiatives to an organization passionate about building Schwab’s brand and reputation.

What you are good at
Advise Marketing leaders on critical initiatives through data driven analytics
Supervise a staff on F&PA responsibilities including providing mentorship on monthly financial close, annual budgeting, ongoing financial forecasting, ad hoc business analysis, financial reporting, and handling required target dates
Structure and lead analytical projects for critical Marketing initiatives
Present analyses and communicate recommendations to senior leadership to drive business decisions such as driver-based forecasting, business case development, and cost analysis
Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels and across geographical locations while advising and influencing strategic decisions
Proactively identify, evaluate, and problem solve financial business opportunities
Develop and implement scale to meet finance objectives
What you have
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
7 years of related financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills including financial model development exhibiting modeling standard methodologies and automation of repeatable processes
Proactive self-starter and teammate who can work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with minimal direction
Outstanding analytical skills to scope and structure forecasting models for analytics with strong attention to details
Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles and concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating presentations in PowerPoint
Strong social skills to work cross-functionally to drive alignment and guide the team to deliver results
Demonstrate sound business judgment, critical thinking, ability to deal with ambiguity, and problem solve
Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics or PeopleSoft Financials is a plus
Colorado CompensationTarget Total Compensation - 105,300 - 210,500.Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience -- talk with your recruiter to learn more.
