The Marketing Finance group provides financial analysis and strategic decision support for Schwab’s Marketing enterprise. This role plays a significant role in providing financial mentorship, helping business partners drive scale and efficiency, and developing ad-hoc analytics to support business initiatives to an organization passionate about building Schwab’s brand and reputation.

What you are good at

• Advise Marketing leaders on critical initiatives through data driven analytics
• Supervise a staff on F&PA responsibilities including providing mentorship on monthly financial close, annual budgeting, ongoing financial forecasting, ad hoc business analysis, financial reporting, and handling required target dates
• Structure and lead analytical projects for critical Marketing initiatives
• Present analyses and communicate recommendations to senior leadership to drive business decisions such as driver-based forecasting, business case development, and cost analysis
• Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels and across geographical locations while advising and influencing strategic decisions
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and problem solve financial business opportunities
• Develop and implement scale to meet finance objectives

What you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• 7 years of related financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills including financial model development exhibiting modeling standard methodologies and automation of repeatable processes
• Proactive self-starter and teammate who can work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with minimal direction
• Outstanding analytical skills to scope and structure forecasting models for analytics with strong attention to details
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles and concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating presentations in PowerPoint
• Strong social skills to work cross-functionally to drive alignment and guide the team to deliver results
• Demonstrate sound business judgment, critical thinking, ability to deal with ambiguity, and problem solve
• Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics or PeopleSoft Financials is a plus

Colorado CompensationTarget Total Compensation - 105,300 - 210,500.Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience -- talk with your recruiter to learn more.
