This role resides within Product Marketing and works closely with Charles Schwab Bank and Charles Schwab Trust Bank’s product teams and marketing partners to develop compelling marketing programs that deliver business results for key products – in particular, the Investor Checking account and related products and services.
The role will have direct impact on the company’s future growth and is responsible for:
- Serving as primary point of contact for business and product partners
- Developing and activating on strategic and project plans in support of business goals and objectives
- Liaising with other colleagues (Product Marketing Digital and Creative Lead, Digital Marketing, Segmentation Marketing, Analytics, Publishing, etc) as needed to drive strategic and planning efforts.
- Ensuring consistency and alignment across marketing programs and initiatives
- Supporting dynamic corporate and business goals and objectives through efficient budget and resource management
What you have
Required:
- Must have experience with Schwab processes either as a contractor or associate
- 10 years marketing experience is strongly preferred
- Experience managing creative agencies is required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Financial services and/or deposit product experience strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of investment products and investing fundamentals
- Experience executing a wide variety of marketing communications including digital content, print, email, and banner advertising

- Excellent marketing program management skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful execution
- Attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills to deliver sound marketing recommendations that drive business results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with business and marketing partners, and report out on marketing program status
- Leadership and relationship-building skills, including the ability to build consensus with key partners, work effectively in a cross-functional/highly matrixed organization, and manage by influence
- Sound judgment, planning, marketing management and organizational skills
- A ‘can-do’, results-oriented approach
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
Salary : $87,800 - $178,900
