What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onsite Desktop Support position at Charles Schwab?
Your Opportunity
This is an early career level position with the Desktop Support group, (Onsite Support), and will focus on supporting Associates in a large Enterprise Corporate environment. The Onsite Support group is responsible for ordering, configuring, deploying, and resolving technical issues. We are looking for an enthusiast candidate who enjoys a fast-paced place to work and has a 'can-do' spirit.
What you are good at
- This position will assist in deploying, solving problems, and maintaining equipment for the service center.
- Inventory Management - deploy and reclaim computer equipment
- Assist in computer configuration
- Document work in various tools. (Remedy, Clarity)
- Provide excellent customer support to Schwab employees.
What you have
- The successful candidate will have a minimum 1-3 years’ experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal Service Center environment.
- A good understanding of PC technical support of the Windows and Macintosh desktop OS (Windows, Windows 11 and Mac OS X) is desired.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal modes.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service.
