General Manager

Charleys Philly Steaks is a family owned and operated restaurant group in Woodstock, GA. We are looking for a General Manager to lead our team and create a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead our team of managers by example and inspiring them to create memorable guest experiences
• Train and manage team members to provide exemplary service and exceed customers’ expectations
• Ensure compliance with all operational, safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain strict quality standards, including service quality and appearance standards
• Coordinate and manage daily activities of the team, including scheduling, labor, equipment maintenance, food ordering and delivery, sales and marketing activities etc.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve the business (e.g. expanding market share or lowering costs through better service or products etc.)
• Analyze financial performance, discuss with management and make recommendations for improvement to senior management
• Participate in area/regional/national/worldwide events and conferences as required by role/job/organization

Skills & Requirements

• Proven work experience as a General Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of hospitality management best practices and relevant industry trends
• Hands-on experience with marketing, finance and cash handling; strong communication skills; ability to follow instructions and remain calm under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented; multi-tasking ability; problem solving skills; ability to work independently at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
