Resource Room Manager

Join Our Mission: Resource Manager at Charlotte Rescue Mission

Are you experienced in SUD recovery treatment programs? Do you have a passion for helping people learn? Do you want to make a difference at work? If so, Charlotte Rescue Mission, a Christ-centered residential drug and alcohol recovery program, is seeking candidates like you to apply for the Resource Room Manager and join our team of dedicated staff members.

The Resource Room Manager ensures that the resource room is a place where all residents, at the end of the program, have access to resources needed for them to be successfully employed, educated, computer literate and connected to community resources needed to become self-sufficient and independent.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience:

• High School diploma, with an Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
• Nonprofit work experience.
• SUD, MH, Behavioral Health experience.

Skillset:

• The ability to teach and facilitate a class. This includes a classroom/group environment. Be able to equip residents with the tools needed to address issues such as reading, math, basic computer skills, resume writing, interviewing techniques to name a few.

• Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
• Must have excellent people skills, active listening skills, as well as flexibility, patience, and compassion for others.

• Have the ability to adjust to change and transition effectively.
• Must be able to set boundaries with the residents per Mission policies and practices.

Technical Skills:

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Windows work environment and Microsoft Office .
• Working knowledge of TEAMS/EXCEL/WORD/KIPU database is helpful.
• Demonstrated instructional skill, particularly around addiction and recovery.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to teach computer skills to students at various levels of proficiency.
• The ability to troubleshoot technology issues as needed to ensure good operation of computers and programs being used.
• The ability to lift 30 lbs. and sit/stand for extended periods.

Hourly Pay:

The hourly pay range of $19.92 - $24.58 is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $19.92 - $24.58 per hour
