Job Posting for Cytotechnologist at CharterCARE Health Partners
Summary: To perform cytology procedures pursuant to established and approved protocols requiring the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility, maintain equipment and records, perform quality assurance activities related to test performance, in consultation with the Cytopathology Director.
Education: As required by the General laws of the State of Rhode Island and including a Bachelor of Science degree and certification by an accredited school of cytotechnology or equivalent education is required, and with a current Rhode Island DPH Clinical Cytotechnologist license. Completion of a certification through a nationally recognized credentialing agency is preferred.
Experience: Three years relevant clinical laboratory experience in an accredited diagnostic cytology laboratory is preferred.
