Role Overview
As Senior Content Marketing Associate, you’ll support our high impact content and thought leadership program. You’ll play an integral role in the day-to-day strategy and execution of our content framework and calendar. You’ll also work closely with business line executives to plan, write, edit, and promote our dynamic thought leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for a rising marketer to make a big impact in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
Responsibilities
Thought leadership development – Assist in planning, writing, and editing industry-leading content, specifically tied to solutions and practices. Partner with internal subject matter experts to deliver memorable storytelling, thought-provoking insights, and an attention-grabbing final product.
Content project management – Play an integral role in the ongoing development and execution of content strategy. Collaborate with practice support leaders to ensure thought leadership projects are appropriately staffed, created according to marketing guidelines and best practices, and executed against a realistic timeline.
Multi-channel marketing & promotion – Leverage web, social media, paid, and earned media platforms to maximize engagement and extend the lifespan of thought leadership.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a portfolio of published content as a lead writer/ghostwriter and as an editor.
3 years of experience in content marketing on healthcare industry topics, ideally in Consulting or Professional Services
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
Experience writing and editing a wide variety of content formats, such as marketing emails or newsletters, webpage copy, and in-depth articles, analyses/reports, or whitepapers
Experience managing multiple projects and deliverables effectively, with expert attention to detail, under deadline
Ability to translate traditional content into storytelling and digital content
Ability to synthesize and write about complex healthcare topics to create a memorable, easy-to-consume final product
Ability to take concepts and translate them into multiple formats, including visual representations
A strong grasp of content marketing principles, and familiarity with current marketing trends and strategies
Ability to be flexible, work in ambiguous situations, and adapt to changing business requirements
Experience publishing web content
Experience following a set style guide, AP Style preferred
Experience working effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
Salary range: $85,000-105,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
