Open year round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham’s charming Main Street and within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer.
The responsibilities of the Licensed Electrician include but are not limited to performing general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms/suites, meeting spaces, restaurants and common areas. The Electrician will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment. Additional duties include:
Maintain all Electrical Panels and Time Clocks
Assist during additional electrical requirements due to special events.
Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns as requested by Chief Engineer and/or the Director of Property Operations
Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects through the company’s Know Cross PM program with follow through when the project is completed
Responds to all building related safety concerns
Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures at all times
Maintains compliance with zoning rules and regulations
Adheres to all safety standards put forth by Chatham Bars Inn and OSHA
Requirements:
Must possess a valid MA Electrician’s License
Hotel or Resort experience preferred
Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekend, holiday and evening shifts
Excellent Communication skills required with staff & guests
Valid Driver’s license required
Well organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Fluency in English (verbal/written) is necessary, ability to speak additional languages is desired but not required
Use of personal vehicle
Salary : $27 - $37
