What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Direct Care Northampton, $1500 Sign on Bonus, Tuesday-Saturday 4pm-12am position at CHD Brand?
The Recovery Specialist works within the Agency’s team model, establishing open communication, support, and assists families in need of substance abuse treatment by providing the education and support needed to establish a clean and sober way of independent living.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages behavior through use of programmatic structure, rules, routines, contracts, and treatment plans
- Transports residents in matters related to service delivery
- Transfers written and verbal program information to staff and electronically
- Mediates problems between residents
- Delivers services to any resident and child in program in the event that the assigned staff in unable to work
- Oversees Phase Work and makes sure the work is done correctly and completely
REQUIREMENTS
- High school or better required.
- Written and verbal communication skills are critical as is the ability to work with computers.
- All positions require a background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check, as well as a reliable vehicle for work use.
