General Dental Office Seeks Appointment Coordinator
We are an established general dental office located in Talladega, AL. We treat every patient like family and are known for our gentle, compassionate, accommodating and friendly doctor and staff.
We are looking for an extremely upbeat, high energy, friendly, enthusiastic, intelligent, and hard-working person for this role. This position mixes a combination of Guest Services, Front Desk, and Marketing/Public Relations. We are seeking an individual with a "retail mentality" that can bring a "How can I help you?" approach to our dental office. Prior dental experience will be required.
Here are some of the duties that this position will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service (A MUST!)
- Assist in building trust and rapport with all patients.
- Answering new patient calls
- Responding to new patient emails
- Scheduling new/current patients
- Greeting new/current patients
- Assisting new patients with forms and check-in
- Ensure patient records are current, up-to-date, and accurate
- Verify insurance coverage for each patient and note changes in benefits
- Present and explain treatment plans to patients before treatment is performed
- Present financing options to patients
- Coordinate patient treatment with specialists
- Liaison between front and back office
- Manage social media interactions with patients
- Maintain and organize the front desk and reception areas for cleanliness
