Venturi, LLC has an exciting career opportunity for a Program Control Analyst who will perform important financial analysis work supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. The Program Control Analyst will assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Directorate in the transformation of its existing methodology of capturing, analyzing and presenting financial and contractual data to the organizational leadership.The Program Control Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis and contractual support, including cost estimating, execution tracking of internal/external funds, and other actions as necessary.
Responsibilities
Work you’ll do
As a Program Control Analyst within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will:
- Lead and assist the customer in developing innovative methods using digital business tools to change existing processes in support of financial and contract activities and tasks.
- Plan and coordinate Inter/Intra- Agency Requirements (IARs), Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), Congressional Requirement Documents (RDOCs), risk assessment and mitigation, internal controls and assist in Control Ledger analysis, monthly Execution Review development, monthly Program Control Board (PCB) actions, annual Budget Brief development.
- Develop and maintain established databases and/or create new databases for financial tracking.
- Lead and assist develsopment of innovative methods and tools that support the financial and contract activities and tasks.
- Assist with developing and maintaining financial data files, tools, and reports for program execution reviews, requirements tracking, earned value management, and budget management.
- Interpret and analyze financial data, including earned value and provide estimates, forecasts, risks, and recommendations.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of detailed year of execution spend plans and tracking of current year obligations, cash release, accruals, and expenditures.
- Lead and assist with development of Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) plans.
- Prepare documentation necessary to transmit funding to internal MDA and external customers and/or performers.
- Analyze and recommend business case solutions and improvements for near-term and long-term planning initiatives.
- Perform research and analysis on a wide range of strategic initiatives.
- Identify process improvements and workforce efficiencies to improve program effectiveness and cost savings.
Qualifications
Required:
- BS/BA degree with 7 years of experience in financial work in the Missile Defense System domain or other complex DoD program/project
- Goal-oriented with excellent people skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic, and proactive in all manners related to the job
- Experience with Qlik or Power Business Intelligence (BI) business analytics software required
- Experience developing and manipulating relational data tables and Pivot tables
- Interim secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
- The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief
Preferred:
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience developing and manipulating relational data tables and Pivot tables
- Experience working with a mix of engineering, business financial management and contracting communities to develop sound engineering, business, and contracting solutions
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with technical, financial, contracting, and industry teams to understand key processes and deliverables
- Clear and effective oral and written communications skills with capability to draft templates, memoranda, executive summaries, briefings, trip/meeting reports, and other written documentation
- Experience and/or understanding of government Support Agreements and the IAR/Acquisition processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
