Summary
CDAS is seeking a Project Manager to support the enhancement and management of the Lakota Maintenance Management System (LMMS), which allows for efficient fleet management, material ordering, and reporting capabilities of the UH-72. The UH-72 is a Commercial/Non-Development Item (NDI) rotary wing aircraft. The US Army utilizes it as a multi-purpose, light utility helicopter capable of operation in various locales and missions in permissive, non-hostile environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Program Management Reviews (PMR) with the Government Representatives an average of once every four months
- Implement and manage a complete Quality Control Program (QCP) that identifies potential and actual problem areas
- Manage the support software development and information systems management requirements to help collect, organize, and analyze data
- Manage the maintenance of the designated supply management systems for the Lakota program
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of continuous supply operations to support the effective procurement, transfer, storage, inventory, security, and accountability of all Health Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) used in support of the SOW requirements
- Assist in the development of HUMS test reports and perform a detailed analysis of data captured over a defined period of flight hours
- Communicate progress and results to the Government
- Perform supervisory duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 10 years of experience with managing aviation programs within established cost, performance, and schedule metrics.
- Must complete DOD AT level 1 Training within 30 days of starting
- Background check required
- The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Strong influence management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to understand, track, drill down and questions activities and issues in a testing and improvement environment
- Knowledge of Army Regulations (AR) 25-400-2 and Army Records Management Information Systems (ARIMS)
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
