What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Handle inbound calls from potential new members generated by local sales and marketing initiatives
- Maintain acceptable call metrics and performance standards, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Schedule VIP tours of medical centers for prospective members
- Invite prospects to local community events as requested
- Grow and nurture potential members toward becoming new patients
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of related phone contact work experience required
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills including active listening
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Successful experience in a service industry is strongly preferred
- Experience with Community Relations
- Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) is a plus
- Successful customer care sales experience is a plus
- Experience working with seniors or Medicare-eligible individuals
