E*SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Includes the following:
- Oversees and maintains high standards of cleanliness in areas of casino operation, corporate areas, outside EVS, concert venues and back of the house areas.
- Ensures the productivity of EVS personnel with regard to work performance and ensures the cleanliness standards are upheld.
- Communicates expectations of cleanliness standards to EVS Attendants and provides feedback as how to improve standards.
- Oversee time schedules for staff to ensure that areas are properly being cleaned routinely.
- Ensures staff is following safety guidelines for chemical usage, bending, twisting, slip/trip hazards, or any unforeseen hazards.
- Identifies dirt buildup or dust build up, assembles team to clean necessary areas.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and processes requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Oversees maintenance of EVS equipment.
- Tracks repairs needed and ensures service orders are put in for repair.
- Performs basic maintenance on EVS equipment, (vacuums, turtles, scrubbers, extractors).
- Coordinates maintenance repairs with facilities team and ensures that repairs are made in a timely manner.
- Assists guests by answering questions and showing guests where their desired location is on property.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Supervises department and provides input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of related experience, including 6 months leadership experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of floor finishes, cleaning and maintaining various types of flooring, including VCT tile, marble, wood laminate and carpet.
- Basic computer skills.
- Inventory and expense control knowledge.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Pay: From $37,000.00 per year

- 12 hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
