Spa Attendant

Cherry Blossoms Spa opened in 2010 and is located in the heart of Bastrop. Our spa services include massage, skincare and waxing. Our intention is to provide our guests with a pleasant and memorable experience so that we create relationships that last for years to come.

This is an entry level position with the potential of promoting the right candidates to a Guest Services position. This position involves laundry, cleaning and supporting the spa. Spa attendants deal with the public regularly and must exhibit excellent customer services skills. Must be flexible with work hours. The schedule varies from 9:00 to 6:00 pm, generally in shifts of 4 to 5 hours and usually every other Saturday but you may work other hours. Flexibility is a must and we cannot interview candidates that are not available Tues- Friday 10- 6, Saturdays 10-4:30. This is a busy position and dependability is a must.

Spa Attendant Duties:

• Create an excellent experience for each client
• Support the spa as needed, including but not limited to, cleaning, laundry, data entry, preparing supplies, answer the phone, etc.
• Provide support when the Guest Service staff are away from the front desk

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have general knowledge of operating a computer, able to enter data and have the ability to learn to schedule appointments
• Must have schedule availability during operating hours Tues-Friday 10-6, Saturdays 10-4:30
• Ability to learn about and sell products and treatments to clients
• Must have a pleasant demeanor
• An interest in health and well being is a plus

Attendance and punctuality:
Attendance and punctuality are extremely important in our business.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand policy and procedure manuals. Ability to speak clearly to clients and staff in order to communicate effectively.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.

We value sanitation measures and follow all TDLR guidelines. We allow clients to decide when to wear masks. Service providers wear masks during services. Staff are not required to wear a mask unless providing a service to clients.
