The Hotel
The Atrium Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn) is under new ownership and management with Chesapeake Hospitality. The hotel will be undergoing a complete renovation and will be returning to a major hotel brand. Position Summary
As a Chesapeake Hospitality General Manager, your responsibilities will be to lead and effectively manage all hotel functional areas (Food and Beverage, Rooms, Sales, Human Resources, Accounting, and Maintenance) to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing the guest experience. This will include developing strategies, marketing plans, operational goals, and ensuring that business decisions are in line with the company's mission, values, and guiding principles.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone:
- With a proven track record of consistently beating occupancy, ADR, RevPar and guest service goals,
- Who is competitive and has a burning desire to command a hotel that is known for excellence in every area and,
- Who is community oriented and can excel at building and fostering relationships in and out of the hotel.
- With previous experience in full-service hotel renovation/construction.
Qualifications
- Experience managing or being in a leadership role at branded hotels preferably IHG
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences for transient and corporate guests
- Proven aptitude to communicate and bridge relationships with guests, employees, corporate, ownership, the community and stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of cutting-edge sales, e-commerce and revenue management practices
- Operational excellence and drive to be the best
- Hotel renovation experience required
