What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenace Mechanic III position at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare?
The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for performing all work associated with the Zone Mechanic Program, ensures the proper operation of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, hot water systems and tanks, steam systems, condensate systems, heat exchangers, pumps, air compressors, HVAC equipment, and other mechanical and electrical systems of all Chesapeake Regional Medical Group buildings. The Maintenance Mechanic III has to maintain the knowledge and ability to perform the Maintenance Mechanic II position, as well as maintain the various support systems used by renting customers in the various Medical Office Buildings. This person acts as an ambassador of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center (CRMC) to the non-CRMG tenants in the Medical Office Buildings (MOB's), as well as works with the management company overseeing the MOB's to ensure excellent service is provided to all tenants.
Education and Experience
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Graduation from a trade school
Experience: 2 years as a boiler operator and/or physical plant worker
