CSP’s HR Practice team is working on a fantastic and very diverse opportunity with our client. The incumbent would split his/her time out in the field with team members and then partner closely with “internal customers” at the organization’s headquarters handling nationwide recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the leadership recruitment process.
- Collaborates with managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective relationship-driven recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens leadership applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Partners with HR coordinator to schedule virtual and in-person interviews; oversees preparation of interviewers using the company’s established selection process, including screening, interviews, administration of leadership assessment and background screening, offer letters and employment contracts.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. Provides feedback to leaders on their interviewing skills.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Develop relationships with community organizations to help fuel the recruitment pipeline for hourly and apprentice roles.
- Performs the role of strategic HR partner for 3 properties in Baltimore County.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Must have hospitality recruiting experience or 5 years of recruiting experience in addition to hospitality experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software (ADP is a plus).
- Able to translate interviewing skills to internal employee investigations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
