ChevoConsulting is currently hiring a Senior Knowledge Management Analyst to joinour expanding managementconsulting practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding the federal organizations' strategic plan, mission, vision and goals and use them to develop an approach for a CBP wide acquisition knowledge management campaign. Primary Location of client site is in Ashburn, VA and is metro accessible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Knowledge Management functional area by using concepts, processes, tools and methodologies of knowledge management.
- Create documents and implement knowledge management governance policies and procedures.
- Develop and provide employee training on knowledge management tools.
- Provide support in the area of records management. This would include review and editing of reports, documents, records or other material to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance with statutes, regulations and precedent decisions.
- Assist with development, design, set up and maintenance of a web site/portal for knowledge dissemination.
- Analysis, interpretation and implementation of regulations, directives and procedures pertaining to knowledge management.
- Identify critical organizational needs for retaining and leveraging knowledge from the acquisition workforce.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree
- 10 years' experience, preferably with 5 years' experience in Federal Information Resource Management in areas such as IT governance and program, acquisition, and records management practices
- Ability to conduct research and analyses to resolve problems and offer corrective action
- Ability to pass client clearance requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with knowledge management governance policies, processes, procedures, and tools especially within DHS or CBP agencies
- Experience with records management
- Proficiency with Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Current or recent DHS CBP clearance or Background Investigation (BI), or from similar DHS or Federal law enforcement agency
