We are seeking an experienced supply chain professional with a background in supply planning, inventory management and purchasing. In this role, you will ensure Chewy is providing the best-in-class consumer experience by managing vendor purchasing, optimizing inbound flows, and maintaining healthy inventory levels through data-driven analysis and decision making, and building relationships with our vendors, fulfillment centers and internal cross-functional teams. You will get to work side-by-side with equally smart, passionate, and highly motivated entrepreneurs as we continue to build Chewy's future.
What You'll Do:
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of inventory, purchasing through FC fulfillment
- Analyze key metrics including vendor fill rate, lead time variability and FC inbound capacity to maintain Chewy's best in class in-stock rates and inventory turns
- Quickly identify and communicate current and future inventory issues, as well as developing sound recovery plans
- Participate in cross-functional manufacturer and vendor reviews, driving vendor operational improvement
- Participate in innovative, metric driven processes and projects to achieve supply chain excellence
What You'll Need:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Merchandising, Business, eCommerce, Technology, Finance, Product Management, Category Management, Consulting, or related field
- Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- E-commerce background is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL experience a plus. ERP & Planning software experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business: Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Economics, or related field
- Master's degree is a plus
- Position may require occasional travel
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $78,500 - $159,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
